California Legislative Intent Research

We conduct California Legislative Intent Research for our clients based on their California Statutes of interest.  For California Statutes, our research generally includes, but is not limited to, bill copies, bill history, surviving legislative committees’ analyses and their bill files, author’s or sponsor’s legislative bill files, the Governor’s bill file, and background information, such as relevant competing and prior legislation. Typically, we work with contacts in California to gather documents related to the intent of the legislation that affected your California Statutes of interest.

Timeframe: Our turnaround times for California research ranges from one day (when available!) to two+ weeks.  Contact us for a free quote.  See a sample of our California research here.

You can also obtain California statutory research from our online store.  Click here to search for your enactment of interest.  To see the difference between store research and custom research, visit our Services page.
